Since then he's made a second one at the Moog sound lab and just yesterday released his third ascent to nerd-dom. They all revolve around creating a track in synthesizer hot spots and are largely improvised too.

Korg has produced 1000 reproductions of the MS-20 in it's original form factor (not mini) as a kit.
No soldering or prior knowledge in electronics is required to assemble your very own MS-20. This kit release has a very special feature that makes this it unique from the original and the mini version released last year. It has both the original MS-20 filter known for its distortion and self-oscillating sound AND the revised filter seen on later production runs. The less common and revised filter is known for lower noise signal to noise ratio and a much smoother sound. It is nice to have options. There are only 1000 of these available world wide so they will quickly become collector's items.

About the artists...
“There are still people trying to work out what a genius Gary Numan is.”
“I was always impressed by the way Gary Numan found his own voice–and it was unusual–but it was unmistakenly him and boldly him. I see me doing what I learned from him.”
-Trent Reznor, Nine Inch Nail
Numan’s permanent relocation to the US at the end of 2012 reinvigorated his creativity and had an immediate positive effect, with ‘Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)’ eventually being finished in his LA studio at the start of 2013. Numan’s unique vocal style evokes a feeling of machinery and icy alienation whilst provoking strong emotions within the electronic noise of classic albums such as ‘The Pleasure Principle’ and ‘Telekon’ that connects with his loyal and ever-growing fan base of self-proclaimed Numanoids.
You can read more about Gary's new album and tour dates on his site:
Trust is a Canadian synthpop music group from Toronto, formed 2010. The band is signed to the Arts & Crafts record label. Their full-length debut album, TRST, was released on 28 February 2012
The band was formed by Robert Alfons (of Winnipeg) and Maya Postepski (also of the band Austra). The pair met in late 2009, started writing songs together, and formed the band in January 2010. The duo insist that they are more than just an Austra side project.
Empress Of is the solo project of 23 yr old artist Lorely Rodriguez.
Feathers is the electronic pop recording project of Austin, TX based singer-songwriter Anastasia Dimou.Dimou began recording and performing under the moniker Feathers in 2011, following a move to Austin, TX from her home state of NY. She has supported Depeche Mode, Washed Out, The Duke Spirit, Robyn, Little Boots, Blouse, and played several festivals, including All Tomorrow's Parties (music festival), Fun Fun Fun Fest, Austin Psych Fest, Field Day, SXSW Music Festival and The_Great_Escape_Festival.
The Los Angeles Times cited Feathers as the discovery of SXSW 2013 along with Autre Ne Veut.
Feathers was hand-selected by Depeche Mode to open for the band at both SXSW 2013 and for select dates on the band's 2014 European tour.
Switched On features an Austin based electronic band every year. This year we chose the recently formed Silk Rodeo.
Silk Rodeo is the collaborative duo of Michael McCay and Josh Mill (Missions). Silk Rodeo formed in Austin, TX in 2013 and is due for a release later this year. The sound is reminiscent of deep house, balearic disco, and DFA records type production at times.
More tracks at Silk Rodeo's soundcloud.
