Roland Juno-106

This Juno-106 is fully functional and in good condition.  This unit has been recently serviced and all of the original voice chips have been replaced with the Analogue Rennaissance AR80017A Voice IC [S/N 524151]

The Juno 106 was one of the most successful keyboards of its time, and is still used often today, because of its easy to program interface, midi features, and analog sound.

It is the third incarnation of Roland's Juno series, preceeded by the Juno 6 and Juno 60. The Juno 106 is an excellent synth for someone wanting to learn synthesis, but is also fully featured enough for a seasoned pro.

The Juno-106 features six-voice polyphony with one digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) per voice.  A very smooth and rich self-oscillating 24dB/oct analog lowpass resonant filter and a non-resonant highpass complement the filter section. The programable pitch/mod bender can be routed to control the DCO pitch, VCF cutoff, and LFO.

There are 16 MIDI channels available and MIDI SysEx data can be transmitted/received from all the sliders and buttons for total remote control and sequencing capability. A switch on the back of the keyboard, next to the MIDI ports allows the user to switch between three types of MIDI modes: Keyboard and Hold data only; Keyboard, Hold, Bender, Patch selection data; or All data (including SysEx).
